Bungee Jumping Spiders
I guess, I am one of the lucky people that spiders seems to gravitate towards, even inside a car. I have several face to face meeting with these critters and they were never slow moments. I guess, I have to be fair to them since it was my fault for parking my pickup truck under the tree in front of my house. Just imagine driving down the street when out of the corner of your eye you see something moving on the sun visor of your truck. Yes, dang it, a yellow spider at the edge of the visor contemplating a bungee jump. Well, you can just imagine the panic I was in at the moment. I was thinking how to best shoo the spider since I don't want to squish the little bugger. I was in my driving, thinking mode when it made the jump. When it was halfway down and dangling from it's web, I had the bright idea of blowing it away. Wrong! That sucker was swinging wildly inside the truck. Yes, I was screaming like a little girl about this time and I hit notes I never thought I could reach. In a panic I stopped the truck and got out while trying to find something to safely remove the critter from my truck. Yes, I finally removed the spider from my truck, yes, it was still alive. Like I said, it happened several times to me already and not only with spiders. I also have the pleasure of meeting bees and yellow jackets inside the truck. One of the bee episode was really crazy, since I jumped out after parking my truck in front of a parked police cruiser. Well, that was another story for another time. =)

"Whispering Wind"
When this time of year comes around
On the wind I hear a sound
In my ears your name they sing
Floating on little wings
Do you also think of me
Is that you I hear
Did you whispered to the wind
So they can bring it to me
How much of it is really you
How much of it is my imagination
When I hear your name in the wind
How come it makes me blue
With the whispering wind flowing around
My heart long for that certain sound
So to them I can also sing
To bring it to you on little wings
