The Week In Review

I guessed I have not posted anything in a while. I am making a note of the things that happened to me lately.

A few days ago I was in a hurry to go to work. I was still a little sleepy and trying my best to get ready for work. I was in front of my front door trying to lock it before leaving for work. I reached inside my pocket and proceeded to push the button on my alarm keypad. I was surprised to hear my car chriped behind me. Instead of my house key I grabbed my car alarm keypad in my pocket. I instinctively pressed the button and it took me a few seconds to realized what I was doing. [sigh]

Last Saturday, Lady Steel saw one of my car tire was flat. I went and proceeded to change the tire. I changed the tire by the numbers, as I was thought by my father and friends. I loosened the bolts before jacking the car. I proceeded to remove two of the bolts, but the other two were stuck. I went and tried to use more force and felt one of the bolts loosen up. I thought the impact wrench used by the tire shop to install all four tires just replaced the lug nuts a little tight. I turned and turned the tire lug nut wrench until I heard a pop. I looked down and I torqued off the nut from the bolt. The bolt post was broken in half with the rest of the bolt inside the lug nut. A little miffed, I went and tried to remove the other lug nut, but it was stuck like the other lug nut. I tried loosening the nut, then I tightened it, then I loosened it again, until I felt it give way. I went and used some WD-40 to help lubricate the lug nut. When it finally came off, I noticed the threads from the post was stripped. [blink] [blink] [sigh]

I drove my pick-up truck, while I tried to find time to fix the car. I drove it to work. It was 1:45 in the morning, when I came out of work headed home. It was a little chilly and the front windshield was fogged up. I started the engine and turned on the wiper blades. I cringed as I heard a scratching noise, like fingernails on a chalkboard. I looked up at the fogged up windshield and noticed that the wipers did not clear the windshield. I hopped out of my truck to see what was the problem. I saw that I was missing both my new wiper blades that I changed a few months ago.
