Pot Lid Lifter

Here is my design for a metal pot lid lifter.  You carry the lifter and you carve a long stick to fit the hole to use it.  It is a simple design, but it help when checking if your pot is boiling when on the camp fire.  You can also carve a piece of wood to make it instead of using metal, but it would be easier to notch the lifting stick to lift the lid.  You can also  use an old pen detachable clip.  Just bent the clip to the desired curl or angle and attach a long stick through the hole.
